Jay was hired by AVN in 1999 to work in the art and archives department. He eventually became production manager and then moved on.
Jay Moyes and Sherry Ziegelmeyer would work together to form Black and Blue Media, a marketing company that worked with adult businesses.
Ziegelmeyer died of cancer in 2020, so he had to close the firm and start High Octane Heart.
